Springtime social event for persons with a disability
The annual “Can-Do” event began in 1998 at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George as a spring icebreaker for our community’s disabled population. It continued at CNC until 2009, when it was moved to Kinsmen Community Complex. The following year, the event moved to AIM-HI's building on Kerry Street due to renovations at the college.
On May 14th, 2011 it returned to CNC where our community enjoyed such activities as Bingo, Face painting and Karaoke among other social activities. We had a DJ and other live entertainment which accompanied a fine dining experience with dancing after the meal. (INFO COMING SOON) represented The City of Prince George and was our guest speaker for the event.
This year, the price of admission for the disabled is $5.00 (deposit, refunded upon attendance) and able-bodied people are $TBA.
